Shark Attack IV, Not Quite

Another great game between the Sharks and Kings. San Jose came up a little short, but hey, I thought they played their game. You had to expect the Kings would take at least one, especially at home. Their scorers stood up the task and lit the lamp. In addition, Jonathan Quick played a fantastic game. And, as much as I hate them, I gotta give credit where it's due. But all in all, I thought the Sharks responded well throughout the game and despite the loss, they still sit in the driver's seat.

In regards to the final minute of the game, there are probably some hockey purists out there who don't like all the fighting. But I love that shit. Brown, Desjardins and Torres showed some fire with their intense protection of James Sheppard. And Brent Burns going at it with Robyn Regehr? Absolutely fantastic. I think it's great when the emotions boil over and players ignore the refs. Also, forget going to the locker room without getting in one last punch. This is the Stanley Cup Playoffs, yo.

We had to put the brooms away, but we'll get em when the series returns to Santa Clara Street on Saturday.

PS, got a hard buzz going right now. So, coupled with still being up 3-1, this stings quite a bit less.
